Thessia's sky - Liara cosplay by Soylent-cosplay Thessia's sky - Liara cosplay by Soylent-cosplay
The wind this day was so bad, but the sky itself was beautiful! It was just so...blue! I couldn't help myself but get my blue skin against the blue of the sky~

(Hopefully it's not so bright on your screens! On mine it's okay, but let me know if it's TOO blue. )

Liara/ asari belong to Bioware

I am always blown away when I see your Liara cosplay! You did an amazing job!

I'm curious about that details of the makeup.. what did you make it out of?

Thank you so much!

But you'll have to be more specific with your question, because I'm not sure which part of the make up you mean.
So, the headpiece is latex, then tag body paint as the base and the rest is done in eyeshadow mostly. :)
Let me know if you actually wanted more specifics on something in particular~

Haha, sorry for being vague, but you mostly answered my question! So, the headpiece is made out of regular liquid latex? I'm most curious on how you formed the headpiece.

Ahh well the headpiece I currently have was not made by me, but I have made things similar in the past. The process is creating the piece out of clay first, then creating a plaster mould of that. Once you clean out the clay, you paint in the liquid latex and voila! When you pull it out you have a headpiece! :3
It's a lot of work and patience, and sometimes the resources can be difficult to get, so often it's cheaper to out source then make it yourself. But it is very rewarding making these sorts of things~

I've made little things with a similar process, just never thought it can be done to make big pieces too. Thank you so much for answering my questions! Again, really amazing work.
